random weekend's rant

What's the similarity of these facts and figures from the Guardian with watching Liverpool's side brushed aside against Reading on Saturday EPL's fixture? I reckon it might be a piece of cake for you, and yes, you might have guessed it correctly if you guessed they are both unimpressive in their own way!

Watching the away team struggled to gel and performed flowing football and retained the possession against the resilient Reading side on Saturday was really breaking my heart. And the fact that he took three of the best players on the pitch when losing 2-1 to save them for the Champions League's away match was less convincing as well. Nonetheless, to support a team, to put it simply, is like giving your vows in a marriage: for better or worse! So yes, I will stay with you for better or worse Reds and you'll never walk alone! Okay, enough said about football! I think credit should be given to where it's due.

Back to the issues, check these devastating tags (see here for more pictures and heart-breaking tags!) from the the Guardian:

"up to a quarter of all manmade greenhouse emissions are thought to come from deforestation, more than from the world’s transport systems combined. If factored into global emissions, Indonesia becomes the world’s largest producer of carbon dioxide"

"View of Harapan forest from the air. Across Indonesia, an area of jungle the size of 300 football pitches is cleared every hour"

300 football pitches is a massive amount mates! Especially if you running around on the pitch like a headless chicken, more or less like Liverpool players did on Saturday after Rafa took Saint Stevie off. Sorry, can't stop thinking out loud why the fans could see it but the manager did not! It really broke my heart...

See, no need to worry about Liverpool. The result at Reading was an anomaly. Bring on Sunday :D

hope the result in CL is contagious to EPL.. Liverpool should fear no one if they play the way they played against Marseille.. =)
